The grim discovery of a deceased man at a home in one of Vancouver’s most exclusive neighbourhoods is not considered suspicious.
A home in the 4500-block of West 11th Avenue in Point Grey was behind police tape Wednesday morning while police investigated, hours after a body was removed.
Forensic investigators could be seen inside the $2-million home, taking photographs inside.
Const. Brian Montague said after “an extensive review,” detectives believe the death is not suspicious. The case has been turned over to the coroner.
Neighbours tell CTV Morning Live an elderly man lives in the home with his adult son, and they have lived in the home for around 30 years.
The VPD is tasked with investigating sudden deaths, to determine if foul play is suspected.
