Mounties are urging caution after a young woman was sexually assaulted in Burnaby, B.C., early Friday morning.
Police say the 19-year-old was walking alone shortly after midnight in the 7000-block of Walter Avenue when she was approached by an unknown man.
He spoke to her briefly before dragging her into a secluded area and assaulting her.
Cpl. Brenda Gresuik says the woman did not require hospitalization after the attack.
The suspect is described as a 5-5 tall dark-skinned man, between 30 to 40-years-old. He had dark, short, curly hair and was wearing a dark jacket and jeans.
