The RCMP alleges British Columbia's former assistant deputy health minister has committed breach of trust.
The explosive allegation against Ron Danderfer is contained in a search warrant executed in Abbotsford and Kelowna last February.
But the 99-page search warrant only came to light yesterday.
The warrant also includes allegations of fraud against former Fraser Health Authority manager James Roy Taylor and allegations of fraud and influence peddling against Abbotsford doctor Jonathan Burns.
"They are only allegations at this point, we should remember that," current health minister Kevin Falcon said Wednesday.
"I expect the special prosecutor and police will do their job very ably, and if people did wrong-doing I would certainly hope that people will be held to account."
The warrant alleges Burns headed up WebMed Technology, an online company contracted by Fraser Health. Burns is accused of double-billing for his services, and collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars.
In the documents, police also say Burns hired Taylor's wife as an office worker -- and gave Taylor use of his condo in Kelowna.
Burns allegedly also hired Danderfer's wife at WebMed Technology.
The information in the warrant was sworn by RCMP Sergeant John Taylor, a member of the force's E Division Commercial Crime Section in Surrey.
The RCMP investigation into the matter is ongoing, and no charges have been laid.
None of the allegations contained in the search warrant have been proven in court.
Danderfer, Burns and Taylor could not be reached for comment.
