A Vancouver baby’s hilarious passport photo is going viral internationally after his dad posted it online Thursday.
“My wife took our 5 month old son to get his first passport photos taken -- NAILED IT!” proud father Jorge Churano wrote with the photo.
The photo, showing Churano’s five-month-old son looking groggy with one eye shut and a slack jaw, has more than 600,000 views on Reddit and is quickly becoming an internet meme.
Photo commenters went wild online saying the baby looked drunk. One Reddit user posted a drawing of the baby with a martini glass, another edited the photo to look like a mug shot.
“To be honest, I never implied that he was drunk when I posted the original. The internet took it and ran with it. We awoke this morning to being the proud parents of the latest "drunk baby"... We still got a chuckle about the reactions, both positive and negative,” Churano wrote in the comments section.
The photo was featured on the website of British newspaper the Daily Mail and a journalist from Good Morning America tweeted she wanted to talk to Churano.
