Richmond Yacht's new $30-million boat, named the "Status Quo," is a floating palace – complete with exotic wood trim, high-end marble, and a helicopter pad.

The yacht is 150-feet-long and powered by two 2,000-horsepower engines. It's the company's seventh boat – and Richmond Yachts' Keith Kiselback says it's a record-breaker.

"This is the biggest fibreglass boat ever built in Canada," Kiselback said.

"The word ‘mega-yacht' sums it up -- the best of everything."

The yacht has room for 12 guests, eight crew members and, of course, the helicopter.

Interested buyers should not delay – the boat is expected to be snapped up by one of the world's super rich within eight weeks.
