She's been living a nightmare since her son was Tasered and died at Vancouver International Airport in 2007. Now Robert Dziekanski's mother Sofia Cisowski is vowing to keep pushing for justice, even if it means pursuing criminal charges against the police.

The vow came n Saturday night, when the community rallied around Cisowski at a fundraising dinner.

Supporters gathered at a White Rock hotel to help with Cisowski's legal medical and living expenses. She's been staying in Vancouver for the Braidwood Inquiry into her son's death.

Cisowski's supporters say they will continue to press for justice even if it means pursuing criminal charges against the police officers in Poland.

"I have been hired by Miss Cisowski to work with a lawyer in Poland to utilize all tools and all laws available to us, including exploring all options to see if this matter can be investigated and prosecuted in Poland,'' said Bill Sundhu Cisowki's, lawyer.

"Polish law allows that and we have done some work in that regard."

Sundhu says the first step is to see what kind of resolution the case finds in Canada.
