EDMONTON - Police in Edmonton believe a man wanted for a murder in that city earlier this year is now living somewhere on Vancouver Island.

Edmonton Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for 26-year-old Austin Southworth, on charges of second degree murder, possession of a dangerous weapon and robbery.

He is wanted for the slaying of 37-year-old Brad MacDonald, whose body was found on the outskirts of Edmonton in April.

Edmonton's medical examiner ruled the death was caused by blunt force trauma.

Police believe Southworth may be on Vancouver Island and could be driving a blue, 2004 Mazda MPV minivan with a broken driver's side window and Alberta license plate BPB 4769.

He is described as 5'7', 140 pounds with a tattoo on his left hand which reads "brothair," a full sleeve tattoo on his right arm, and star-shaped tattoos across the front of his neck.
