CTV has some good news to report about the diabled girl, who had her special bicycle stolen by a heartless thief in Surrey, B.C. on Monday.
Two donors have stepped forward with offers to replace the bike that belongs to Trudy Onkow, a feisty eight-year-old, who suffers from cerebral palsy.
Trudy needs the special bike to get around and develop her muscles. It is why her mother was devastated when the bike was stolen, along with a second bike that belongs to her brother Nickolas.
But on Wednesday night, two donors were waiting to donate cash if a tip from an anonymous source does not lead to the recovery of both bikes and related equipment.
Trudy's bike has been found near a local trailer park, but without some of its key features, including special pedals, a flag and a dragon helmet.
But her brother's bike is still missing.
The donors are Rahim Rajwani, and Ken Noga.
Rajwani said he has a young daughter, who loves her bicycle. "But more importantly I want this little girl to know that sometimes out of bad situations, good things can come out of bad,'' he said
Noga said he thought making a donation was the right thing to do.
