Some Olympic and Paralympic ticket holders are still waiting for refunds on cancelled tickets, and getting that money back is more difficult than ever.

Cecilia Baines bought tickets for her staff to attend ski cross at Cypress Mountain, but the standing room spaces were cancelled because of rainy weather.

More than three months after the event, she still hadn't received a refund. It turns out that VANOC had refunded the money to the expired credit card she'd used to buy the tickets.

Now that VANOC's customer service and ticketing call centres have closed, there's only one way to receive any outstanding refunds.

Baines called 778-328-2010, a number manned by the only VANOC staff member still handling refund requests. They directed her to call Visa, and she was finally able to get her money back.
