Residents of Kelowna are outraged that a synagogue in the Okanagan has been covered in hateful graffiti.
Hate-filled words and swastikas were sprayed all over the Okanagan Jewish Community Centre.
"It seems like an ignorant, mindless thing to do," said resident Eddie Sanchez to CTV News.
Another Kelowna resident told CTV that she is disappointed.
"It's sad, it's very sad that it happens in our community," said Connie Sprague.
Police say the vandals struck at some point between Friday night and early Saturday morning.
Glenmore Elementary School and some vehicles in the area were also targeted in the attack.
There were no witnesses and police didn't find any evidence at the scene to connect any suspects to the crime.
The community centre will be re-painted on Sunday.
