As many as 100 cars in a Coquitlam neighbourhood have been keyed for the second time in a month, and Burnaby police are reporting another 75 vehicles have been vandalized.

RCMP say the Coquitlam area, bounded by Austin Avenue to the North, Mundy to the West, Mariner Way to the East and Lougheed Highway was targeted overnight on Sunday.

Burnaby RCMP reported another three areas were targeted by vandals on Monday, including parking lots at Burnaby Mountain Golf Course, Burnaby Eight Rinks, and The Keg restaurant on Eastbrook Parkway.

Approximately 75 vehicles have been keyed in those areas.

A witness reported suspicious activity at The Keg on Eastbrook Parkway, where at least 24 vehicles were vandalized. Police did arrive on the scene but a police dog did not catch the suspect. Police say it is possible the vandal is travelling between the locations in a vehicle.

In Coquitlam, nearly every resident on Remi Boileau's street had at least one car keyed.

Boileau's two cars were vandalized while they were parked right next to his house.

"One of the kid's rooms is right here both the vehicles were right here," he said. "It used to be eggs and water balloons and now kids are going around with keys. It has to be more than one person going around with damage."

Colleen Mah, a resident in the area, was another victim of the crime.

"I'd just given it a good washing on Saturday and moved it over and I figured it was good for a couple of weeks," she said. "I came out Sunday morning to find this -- a whole bunch of scratches all over it."

Two weeks ago, nearly 300 cars in the nearby Silver City movie theatre parking lot were also keyed.

The RCMP have no suspects, but are asking anyone with information to call police.
