Police are asking the public to help locate a 28-year-old Vancouver man who has not been seen or heard from since walking away from home Monday evening.

Luka Erceg has been missing since August 10 at about 8:00 p.m., when police say he left his home near Oak Street and 22nd Avenue on foot.

Erceg is described as a 5'10" tall Caucasian man, weighing about 140 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair with white streaks. Erceg was last seen wearing a blue windbreaker with a yellow collar, red shorts, beige runners and an "Australia-style" leather hat.

Police say Erceg has a transit pass and has been known to visit North Vancouver, Stanley Park and the West End of downtown Vancouver.

If found, police are asking members of the public to stay with Erceg and call 911 immediately as he may be in emotional distress and appear disoriented.

Anyone with information about Luka Erceg's whereabouts is asked to call the police missing persons unit at 604-717-2534.
