Police are praising a man who found a wallet and gave it to a SkyTrain attendant last week -- but the problem is they don't know who they're praising.
The transit police service says the wallet belonged to a doctor at Surrey Memorial Hospital and contained $250 and a $32,000 cheque.
The owner had reported losing the wallet to Vancouver police earlier.
Transit police say the act is a reminder that most people are honest citizens and they wanted to thank the man publicly even if they don't find out his identity.
