The BC Lions are parting ways with quarterback Casey Printers.
He started the team's first three games this season but has seen limited action since due to a knee injury.
A low point came last Monday against Winnipeg when Printers entered the game with a 21-point lead and the Lions went on to lose in overtime.
Printers had re-joined the CFL club late last season and started two regular-season games and two playoff games.
He passed for 1,731 yards this season with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Printers won the league's most outstanding player award in 2004.
