Police are investigating after a 38-year-old was shot to death in the driveway of his Langley home.

Mounties were called to the 9100-block of 207 Street shortly after 9 p.m. Monday to find the man bleeding and unresponsive on the ground.

BC Ambulance Service members pronounced him dead at the scene.

No suspect information has been released, and police have not said whether they believe the shooting is linked to gangs, drugs or organized crime.

IHIT is being assisted by the Langley RCMP and the Lower Mainland District Integrated Forensic Identification and Police Dog Services, who will be processing the scene and speaking with neighbours and witnesses.
