Details coming on new charges in B.C. gang rape

The RCMP plan to release more details today on the latest people to face charges in the sexual assault of a teenage girl.

The attack happened last September at a rave in Pitt Meadows, east of Vancouver, where a 16-year-old girl was drugged and gang raped.

Onlookers snapped photos that were later posted to Facebook.

Colton Ashton McMorris is charged with sexual assault and Dennis John Allen Warrington is charged with making and distributing child pornography.

Crown spokesman Neil MacKenzie says both men are scheduled to appear in court next Monday, and neither are in custody.

A 16-year-old has already been charged with production and distribution of child pornography.

Police have said as many as 12 people saw the attack, but investigators say a code of silence is preventing them from coming forward.
