NEW YORK - Los Angeles goaltender Jonathan Quick has earned the NHL's first star of the week award after helping the Kings leap to the top of the Western Conference.

Vancouver Canucks winger Daniel Sedin earned the second star, while Phoenix Coyotes goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov was the third star winner.

Quick posted a 3-0-0 record last week with a 1.58 goals-against average and .941 save percentage for the Kings (21-10-3).

Sedin led the NHL in both goals with five and points (seven), as the Canucks (18-14-0) won two of three games last week.

Bryzgalov posted a 2-0-1 record with a 0.97 goals-against average, .968 save percentage and one shutout as the Coyotes improved to 19-11-2.
