The Integrated Riot Investigation Team has recommended charges against the 200th person accused of participating in last year's Stanley Cup riot.

In round seven of charge recommendations issued Friday morning, 25 more riot suspects are facing a possible 83 further criminal charges.

However, the investigation is far from being over, as IRIT says it is preparing for the next round. "If you took part in the crime spree on June 15 and think you got away with it, you're wrong," Insp. Les Yeo of the Vancouver police said.

Over the past couple of weeks, courts received four more guilty pleas from people who participated in the riot, bringing the total to seven.

During a sentencing hearing Thursday, admitted rioter Emmanuel Alviar, 20, apologized for his actions. Nevertheless, prosecutors argued for a four-month prison term.

To date, the IRIT has investigated and recommended 592 charges against 200 individuals to the Crown. Top indictments include participating in a riot, mischief, break and enter, assault, disguise with intent and arson.
