Charges have been approved against three more people accused of participating in Vancouver's Stanley Cup riot, including a 38-year-old man from Surrey.
The 10 new counts bring the total to 207 criminal charges approved by Crown prosecutors against 78 suspects. The latest to be charged in connection to the June 15 melee in downtown Vancouver include:
- Luke Douglas George Patillo, 20, of Abbotsford, charged with participating in a riot, mischief over $5,000 and two counts of break and enter
- Brydon Robert Turner, 19, of Delta, charged with participating in a riot and two counts of mischief under $5,000
- Walintang Grueso-Ledesma, 38, of Surrey, charged with participating in a riot and two counts of break and enter
To date, the Integrated Riot Investigation Team has recommended 432 criminal charges against 150 suspected rioters.
