Coquitlam RCMP are asking for the public's help in finding a family dog who was stolen from a home during a robbery.
Max, a seven-pound terrier-Chihuahua, was taken during a daytime break-in from the nearby community of Anmore.
Cpl. Brenda Gresiuk said Monday that some jewelry and other items were also stolen on Oct. 23.
But she said the family is most concerned about their beloved dog.
"I've heard through the investigators that they are obviously quite upset by this, that that was the largest treasure that was taken from their home," Gresiuk said.
Max was wearing a collar with his name and phone number on it.
