An avalanche has closed the Trans-Canada Highway in both directions between Revelstoke and Golden.
DriveBC says the highway is expected to reopen at around noon, but there are no detours available in the meantime
A traffic camera at Glacier National Park, located 72 kilometres east of Revelstoke, shows several semi trucks parked and waiting at the side of the road.
