Four people in the small Kootenays community of Cranbrook, B.C., have been arrested for an alleged conspiracy to commit murder.
Police say that the arrests are the result of an extensive investigation by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, which targets organized crime.
RCMP say they will release more details of the investigation and arrests at a news conference Wednesday afternoon.
