Homicide detectives are probing a possible murder in Surrey after a body was found inside a vehicle.
RCMP tell CTV News the grim discovery was made just after 9 a.m. Friday, in the 9500-block of 139 Street.
The heavily-populated area is just a block away from Surrey Memorial Hospital.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called in to lead the investigation.
The cause of death remains unknown and officers are canvassing the area for potential witnesses.
Traffic in the area is being rerouted.
