Woman robbed at gunpoint while using ATM in Richmond, B.C., RCMP say

Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a frightening robbery committed at a bank machine in Richmond, B.C., last month.
The victim was using an ATM on No. 3 Road, between Alderbridge Way and Lansdowne Road, on the night of Dec. 10 when a stranger approached her from behind and robbed her at gunpoint, according to the RCMP.
The man made off with $250 of the woman's money, authorities said.
"While our officers were on scene within minutes, the suspect had fled the area," said Cpl. Sonny Virk, in a news release.
"Our officers were able to locate CCTV footage of the suspect, and we are releasing these photos in an attempt to identify him."
Richmond RCMP described the suspect as an Asian man, approximately 5'6", with "small eyes" and "black hair roots with brown tips." He was wearing a dark jacket with a hood, dark pants, and a light-coloured backpack.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact the detachment at 604-278-1212 and quote file number 24-39072.
