Two Vancouver men have been arrested in the last week after their common-law wives allegedly discovered child pornography on their home computers.

Cedric David Jaune, 30, is charged with possession of child pornography after police searched his home on Sept. 22 and seized six computers and DVDs containing what police have described as "disturbing images."

Jaune was living in a basement suite with his common-law wife and their one-year-old son at the time of the arrest. His wife called police after she found suspicious images on one of their computers.

The Minister of Children and Family Development has been called, and Jaune has released from jail on conditions, including that he have no contact with his common-law wife or any child under the age of 16.

Jaune makes his next court appearance on Oct. 19.

In a second case, a 26-year-old Vancouver man was arrested on Sunday after his former common-law wife reported that she had found child pornography on his laptop on two occasions.

He has been released from custody and charges of possession of child pornography are pending.
