A Vancouver man has been charged with luring underage girls over the internet after he allegedly exchanged sexual emails with two undercover cops posing as 13-year-olds.
Aaron Frederick Bourcier, 33, was targeted by the Vancouver Police Department's vice unit after a tipster used the website cybertip.ca to suggest that Bourcier was using the web to meet underage girls.
Two undercover officers then posed as young girls online, and police say Bourcier sent them both emails with sexual content.
He was arrested on Sept. 14 when he arrived at a pre-arranged rendezvous with the two "girls."
Investigators searched Bourcier's computer, and say they found pornographic images of children. He now faces two charges of communicating to lure a child under 14, and one charge of possessing child pornography.
Bourcier has been released on bail until his next court appearance on Sept. 27. The conditions of his bail include that he not access the internet and have no unsupervised contact with children under the age of 18.
