Vancouver Police are sounding the alarm about a dangerous sex offender living in the community.
Randolph George Aubichon, 39, has been living in a Vancouver halfway house since Oct. 9.
Police believe he poses a risk of "significant harm" to women.
The Metis man has a long history of sexual assault. Aubichon was released after serving two-thirds of his eight-year sentence for sexually assaulting a woman after breaking into to her home through a sliding door.
The crime was committed just two days after his release to a halfway house -- following a four-year federal sentence for another break and enter and sexual assault.
In that incident, a 50-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the kitchen of her home. When her frail husband tried to come to her defence, he was also assaulted.
Aubichon is five-foot-nine and 200 pounds. He has a scar on his face and tattoos on his left and right arms, as well as his chest.
His bail conditions include staying away from all intoxicants and reporting all platonic and intimate relationships to his parole officer.
