Vancouver will be the first city in Canada to get a look at the new polymer ten dollar note.

The bill is being unveiled today in a ceremony in Vancouver, while the polymer five dollar bill is launched during a matching event in Montreal.

The unveiling of the two bills completes the Bank of Canada's release of the polymer series -- with the 20, 50 and 100 dollar bills already in circulation.

The new plastic-like bills are more durable than their paper counterparts and can also include features that make them harder to counterfeit.

Have your say: Do you like the new $5 and $10 bills?
