Police have arrested two of the province's most prolific car thieves.

Acting on an anonymous tip, Surrey RCMP arrested 26-year-old Christopher Henry Horkey at a home without incident.

Described as having "an appetite for high end cars," the last car he allegedly stole was a 2006 Jaguar. Horkey was wanted for breach of a conditional sentence order.

And the first-ever trailer thief to make the Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime Team's (IMPACT) top 10 list was picked up on outstanding warrants less than 24 after his mugshot was released to media last week.

Ridge Meadows RCMP picked up 26-year-old Matthew Colin Wolfe at his parent's home in Pitt Meadows at 8 a.m. on April 1.

Police say Wolfe was registering stolen trailers and selling them on the internet. He faces a total of 36 criminal charges.

There are eight outstanding thieves remaining on IMPACT's Top 10 Wanted Car Thieves.
