Mounties are asking the public to help locate a young Toronto man who vanished after attending the Contact Winter Music Festival in Vancouver last weekend.
The RCMP said Ephraigm Flores was last seen returning from the electronic music event late at night on Boxing Day.
The 23-year-old was spotted in neighbouring Richmond, in the area of Garden City Road and Granville Avenue, around 11:15 p.m., but hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Mounties said it’s unusual for Flores to drop contact with family and friends, and that his loved ones are very concerned for his well-being.
On New Year’s Eve, five days after Flores’s disappearance, police and firefighters were seen gathering at pond in the 9200-block of Granville, but authorities wouldn’t confirm whether the incident is related to the case.
The RCMP has asked anyone with information on Flores’s whereabouts to contact them immediately.
Flores is described as a Filipino man, 5-8 tall, weighing around 190 lbs. He has short black hair, brown eyes and an athletic build.
