VANCOUVER - A judge has thrown out a sexual abuse lawsuit against former Vancouver Olympics CEO John Furlong.
Grace West alleged in 2013 that Furlong sexually abused her while he was a gym teacher at an elementary school in Burns Lake in 1969 and 1970.
B.C. Supreme Court Justice Miriam Gropper dismissed West's claim, using school records to conclude the woman did not attend the school at the time of the alleged abuse.
Furlong still faces another sexual assault lawsuit from an unidentified man.
A third alleged sexual assault victim dropped her lawsuit against Furlong last December.
He has vehemently denied the allegations.
