A 42-year-old woman has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a slaying at a Coquitlam, B.C., trailer park earlier this month.
B.C.’s Integrated Homicide Team launched an investigation after Peter Markus was found dead inside his trailer at the Wildwood Mobile Park the morning of January 4.
RCMP arrested Darlene Daigle January 22. She is scheduled to appear in Port Coquitlam provincial court Monday, Feb. 1.
Police say the victim and suspect knew each other and the case appears to be a domestic homicide.
The victim’s cause of death has not been released.
