Homicide investigators have identified the 28-year-old man resident gunned down Monday evening in the stairwell of a gym in the Fraser Valley community of Abbotsford.
Todd Joseph Krantz died in what Abbotsford Police and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team say appears to be a targeted hit.
They say there were several potential witnesses to the attack on the known gang member.
Investigators are urging those with information to come forward, especially anyone who was near the Simba Centre on Clearbrook Road in Abbotsford on Monday evening at around 9 p.m.
Krantz was attacked as he walked in the stairwell of the Extreme Fighting Gym.
Police say they were very familiar with Krantz but have not yet named any suspects in his slaying.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is investigating.
