A missing elderly man with dementia has been found safe, Vancouver police say.
Police issued an alert to the public Monday morning about Henry Holst who hadn’t been seen Sunday around 6 p.m. in the area of Main and East Hastings streets.
Officers asked anyone who found him to call 911 and wait until emergency crews arrived.
The VPD announced he had been located "safe and sound" shortly before 2 p.m.
