A man is in hospital in serious condition after being stabbed multiple times in the Downtown Eastside early Tuesday morning.
Vancouver police say he was stabbed during a violent fight in the unit block of East Hastings Street shortly after 5 a.m.
Two adult women were arrested at the scene.
Police have not confirmed the victim's identity or the extent of his injuries.
Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department's Robbery/Assault Squad are investigating the attack, and will be at the scene throughout the day canvassing for witnesses.
