'Dangerous and should not be approached': B.C. RCMP searching for wanted man
Mounties on Vancouver Island are asking the public to call their local police immediately if they see a man wanted for several violent criminal offences.
A warrant is out for Braeden Drake’s arrest on charges of forcible entry, unlawful confinement, assault by choking, assault with a weapon, uttering threats to cause death, mischief, and failing to comply with an undertaking.
According to online court records, Drake is accused of committing the offences in Campbell River on Dec. 21, which are marked as “K” files, used for cases of intimate partner violence.
Police asked anyone with information about Drake’s whereabouts to call the Campbell River RCMP at 250-286-6221 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
“Braeden Drake is considered dangerous and should not be approached,” a Monday statement from police reads. “If you locate Braeden Drake, contact your local police immediately.”
Police describe Drake as a 25-year-old man with brown hair and brown eyes who weighs 181 pounds and stands 5’10” tall.
