Police in Port Coquitlam are investigating a hit-and-run crash that sent a cyclist to hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency crews were called to the Mary Hill Bypass just before midnight.
There were no witnesses to the crash but drivers who spotted the injured cyclist on the side of the road administered first aid until help arrived.
The road was closed for most of the night.
There is no word on the cyclist’s current condition.
The accident comes less than a day after a female cyclist was struck and killed in Richmond.
