Two reporters from CTV Vancouver were honoured at the Jack Webster Awards ceremony in downtown Vancouver Thursday night.
St. John Alexander and Mi-Jung Lee won the Best TV News Reporting of the Year award for their investigation into a WestJet flight attendant's allegations of pilot sexual abuse.
Mandalena Lewis's allegations, outlined in a lawsuit against the airline, led the company to launch a review that found shortcomings in its workplace harassment policies.
CTV Vancouver was also nominated for its interactive digital investigation into Vancouver school closures.
The awards, named after the iconic broadcaster, were held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, and emceed by CTV Vancouver’s 6 p.m. anchors Mike Killeen and Tamara Taggart.
