VANCOUVER - There's been a major cocaine seizure at the Pacific Highway border crossing south of Vancouver.

The Canada Border Services Agency says its officers found 121 kilograms of the drug hidden in a truck heading into Canada from the U.S. on Saturday.

The cocaine was packed in 121 bricks and concealed in a false compartment in a commercial transport truck.

Border agents also found $22,000 in American currency.

The truck driver, a 65-year-old Vancouver man, was arrested and released pending further investigation.

Police officials have said that cocaine is often smuggled into Canada in exchange for marijuana.
