British Columbia Premier Gordon Campbell unveiled a revamped B.C. cabinet, Monday that featured Colin Hansen as the province's new minister of finance.

In the widely anticipated cabinet shuffle, Pat Bell takes up the key forest ministry portfolio.

Hansen is replacing retiring Finance Minister Carole Taylor, one of four ministers who are not running again and were expect to be moved out as the Liberals gear up for next year's provincial election.

Hansen retains responsibility for the 2010 Olympics in the new role.

Having switched from agriculture, Bell replaces Forests Minister Rich Coleman, who is seeking re-election, but was expected to be shifted from his high profile post because of criticism over lack of assistance to B.C.'s struggling forestry sector.

Coleman moves to Housing and Social Development.

Meanwhile, Campbell is bringing five backbenchers into cabinet and says the changes will bring new perspective to the Liberal inner circle.

Blair Lekstrom is the new minister of community development and Mary Polak takes over the healthy living and sports portfolio.

Iain Black becomes minister of Labour and Citizen Services, Bill Bennett returns to cabinet in the Tourism, Culture and Arts post and Joan Macintyre is the new minister of state for Intergovernmental Affairs.
