Free-agent linebacker Anton McKenzie agrees to terms with B.C.
The B.C. Lions agreed to terms Monday with free-agent linebacker Anton McKenzie.
McKenzie spent the last three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and was a CFL all-star last season. McKenzie recorded 68 tackles in 2008, third-most on the team.
"Anton is a very good player who brings a wealth of talent to our defence and special teams," Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono said in a statement. "I believe he will make an immediate impact."
The five-foot-11, 210-pound McKenzie helped Saskatchewan capture a Grey Cup title in 2007.
