Police are trying to return a trove of stolen tablets, bicycles, tools and other goods seized during a raid in East Vancouver last week to the rightful owners.

The dramatic raid took place at a home on Main Street near 47th Avenue, where officers rammed down a white picket fence in an Emergency Response Team vehicle and arrested several people Friday afternoon.

Inside the residence, police located a haul of weapons and drugs and enough stolen property to fill three cube vans, including:

  • High-end bikes and bike parts
  • Musical instruments
  • Comic books
  • A motorcycle
  • Military gear
  • Laptops, computers and tablets
  • Flat-screen televisions
  • Tools and various other items

Authorities are now trying to track down the owners, believed to be victims of thefts and break-ins in Vancouver and possibly other nearby municipalities.

Pictures of the all the recovered goods can be viewed here.

Officers also seize a semi-automatic handgun, multiple replica firearms and other weapons, and roughly $20,000 in suspected cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana and ecstasy from the home.

Ten men and women were arrested on the property, nine of whom have been interviewed and released pending further investigation.

One man, 49-year-old Andrew Roy Cross, has been charged with possession of a restricted firearm. He is known to police, and was on probation for possession of stolen property at the time of his arrest.

Cross remains in custody pending his next court appearance.
