A boat was destroyed when a fire broke out on board just west of Vancouver's False Creek on Wednesday.
Battalion 1 Chief Jeff Coroliuc said crews were called to the area for reports of smoke coming from a boat docked near Beach Avenue and Burrard Street.
"When our crews pulled up, (smoke) was blowing out the windows," Coroliuc said.
Fortunately, no one was inside the boat and no injuries were reported.
Crews were able to get the blaze contained before it spread to the dock or neighbouring boats, but the interior of the vessel was "totally gutted" by flames.
Coroliuc said it was too early to determine the cause of the fire, but that an investigator was speaking with the boat's owner.
