Two people are in custody as Victoria police investigate the suspicious death of a 20-year-old woman, who witnesses say was pushed into the path of an oncoming B.C. transit bus.
Police received several calls late Thursday night saying the woman had been struck by a bus.
Police say two people who ran away from the scene were caught with assistance from members of the public.
Police say the woman was well-known among the city's street community, though they are not releasing her name.
