Old man winter decided to hit Metro Vancouver one more time, which left areas of snow and icy patches on roads and headaches for many Metro Vancouver drivers Monday morning.
Most of the snow is mostly falling in the Fraser Valley, Metro Vancouver, and in the higher elevations of the North Shore.
Coquitlam, New Westminster, Port Moody, Surrey and North Vancouver all reported heavy snowfalls while Vancouver got a slight dusting.
Thick flurries began falling just after 6 p.m. on Sunday. Police shut down all lanes on the Alex Fraser Bridge for a time until crews could sand the icy bridge deck.
So far TransLink has not reported any delays with their buses or SkyTrain.
A couple more centimeters of snow is expected this morning. Bundle up, today and tomorrow temperatures are expected to drop down to -1 C to -5 C.
