VANCOUVER -- Many people are looking to celebrate local with the food that they eat.
Oroweat Organic, sustainably baked bread is produced locally in Langley, B.C.
Oroweat Organic has partnered with local cafe-grocer Dalina with a new 50-Mile Menu.
All the ingredients are produced within 50 miles of Vancouver and this shines a spotlight on local farmers.
The 50-Mile Menu features three sandwiches using different varieties of Oroweat Organic bread.
The three incredible sandwiches are roasted chicken, porchetta with fresh herbs and a vegan roasted portobello mushroom.
The menu is available at Dalina until March 14.
On CTV Morning Live, nutritionist Karlene Karst joined the show.
Karst took on the 50 Mile Menu challenge to create her own three sandwiches using Oroweat Organic bread.
