Vancouver police have seized a vehicle they believe was involved in the hit-and-run that killed 30-year-old skateboard Ryan Barron last weekend.
Police said the vehicle was located at a home in East Vancouver on Tuesday and taken for processing by a forensics team.
Investigators are still working to identify the driver.
The crash happened early Sunday morning, while Barron and another man were skateboarding near Heather Street and West 54th Avenue.
Police said a driver heading northbound on Heather struck Barron, then left the scene without stopping.
The cause of the collision hasn’t been determined.
