B.C.'s provincial health officer says members of the Vancouver Canucks jumped the queue to get the H1N1 vaccine.
Dr. Perry Kendall says unless the players involved were in high-risk groups identified by the province, they shouldn't have gotten the shot until it's offered to everyone beginning tomorrow.
Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault says it was his understanding that anyone who wanted the vaccine in B.C. could already get it.
Health Canada announced last week it was giving clinics and doctors the green light to use doses of unadjuvanted vaccine on the general public.
But the final decision on when to do so still lies with the individual provinces and territories.
The Calgary Flames and their farm club, the Abbotsford Heat, were heavily criticized when players got the vaccine before members of the general public.
