The official Vancouver festival may not kick off until later this month, but cherry blossoms are springing up across the City of Glass in full force.
The pink blooms are creating a canopy across city streets, and creating a magnificent backdrop for amateur and professional photographers alike.
Around 50 different varieties of flowering cherry trees comes into bloom in the region each spring, leaving a shower of pedals on the ground below.
The Vancouver Park Board has an interactive map highlighting which streets and which neighbourhoods have the best photo-op locations.
The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival runs from March 24 to April 17.
