Mounties in Kelowna, B.C., have issued a warning about toxic heroin that could be circulating in the city after the sudden deaths of two young men within the last two days.

Const. Steve Holmes says police were called to a home Tuesday morning and found a 24-year-old man dead.

He says that was after officers responded to call at another home on Monday and discovered a 21-year-old man dead in his bed.

Holmes says small amounts of heroin were found at each location and have been sent for analysis.

He says people in the drug community should be careful about the types of substances they're using and the people selling them to prevent further tragedies.
